DDA & Equality Act Access Audit
Vision Sense can audit your premises, service provision and procedures to produce prioritised and costed recommendations
to meet your obligations under the DDA and the Equality Act.
Design & Access Statements
Vision Sense can produce thorough and complete Access Statements to accompany your planning application, including
consultation events where necessary.
HLF Access Reviews
Vision Sense has produced access plans and access reviews of many HLF proposals and more detailed access audits at
detailed design stages as the projects have developed after being awarded funding.
Desktop Access Appraisals
Vision Sense has the technical and computer skills to appraise your plans and designs in a variety of formats to produce
prioritised recommendations that will provide inclusive design at the earliest and least costly stages of a project.
Project Access Champion
CABE, DPTAC, RIBA, RICS and other bodies recommend an independent access champion is appointed to the design team.
Vision Sense can fulfil this role and ensure that access and inclusive design is included at every stage.
Walkthrough Access Audits
Sometimes a meeting is all it takes. Vision Sense can simply walk through your premises with you and identify access issues
there and then. More suitable to smaller concerns this often opens eyes to access issues and provides simple solutions.
Fire Management & Emergency Egress
Vision Sense consider these issues in all of our access consultancy services but we can also provide emergency egress advice
on building design, the implementation and creation of PEEPs and the provision and cost of specialist equipment.
Inclusive Environments Training
Vision Sense provides tailored and accredited training in inclusive design that establishes the history and background of
disability to motivate our learners to implement the inclusive design law, principles, skills, tips and tricks we teach.
