Every Vision Sense solution is designed to fit the needs of our clients and everyone has different requirements.
Our evaluation and feedback from clients shows that solid first steps lead to successful delivery of the whole access journey. To ensure we get it right from the start, we have designed toolkits for you.
So that we can efficiently deliver an excellent programme for your staff and customers, we need to exactly understand you and your work. To do this we use our knowledge of best practice, the complex legislation in the field, the standards in your sector and other elements to assess your situation, quickly and simply, using one of our Toolkits. We call this process Impact Needs Assessment; it is also known as strategic analysis, business profiling, or asking the right questions! Remember: Any development consultant can give you an Assessment; it is only our valuable specialist knowledge and first hand experience that makes the Vision Sense package a valuable tool.
If you are already an Equality or Access specialist you can use the Disability Equality Toolkit independently to assess your requirements and write your own Disability Equality strategy and action plan from your findings.
Most of our clients prefer to ask Vision Sense to carry out some of this work and report back with clear findings and the legislative implications. This saves time and resources, increases transparency and ensures that existing good practice is identified and valued externally. Completing the toolkit means results are joined-up and that subsequent work gives Best Value and excellent, clear results.
